Standards
Editorial policy
These are the rules our editorial desks work to. They cover where data comes from, how AI is used and labelled, how forecasts are scored, and how errors get fixed.
1. Sourcing
- Price, volume and index data is collected from the official Pakistan Stock Exchange data portal (dps.psx.com.pk).
- Macroeconomic figures are attributed to the issuing institution — State Bank of Pakistan, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Finance — and we do not publish macro numbers no official source has released.
- Company events and announcements come from public PSX filings.
- We summarise public information in our own words. We do not republish copyrighted broker or research reports.
2. AI use and labelling
- Explanatory narrative is AI-assisted (Google Gemini) and is labelled as AI output on the page.
- AI is used to explain and summarise numbers we already hold — never to invent prices, earnings or macro data.
- Prompts are constrained to the data supplied to them; unsupported claims and price promises are rejected.
- Where an AI narrative and the underlying data disagree, the data wins and the narrative is regenerated.
3. Forecasts and accuracy
- Forecasts are model output, not opinion: indicator-based technical signals, statistical range models and macro context, combined into a single stated probability.
- Every forecast is published with its horizon and its probability, so it can be scored later.
- We report accuracy against realised closing prices rather than quoting only our successes.
- No forecast is a guarantee. Ranges are probabilistic and can be wrong in both direction and magnitude.
4. Independence and funding
- No paid coverage, no sponsored ratings, no pay-to-be-screened. Ever.
- Funding is contextual display advertising only; advertisers get no influence over editorial output.
- No staff position is taken in a security in order to promote it on the platform.
- Access is free and unauthenticated — there is no subscriber tier that changes what you are shown.
5. Corrections
- Report an error to info@qwhosting.com with the page URL.
- We verify against the primary source, fix the page, and date-stamp material corrections.
- Automated data pages carry a last-updated timestamp so you can see the vintage of what you are reading.
- Pages that can no longer be sourced are withdrawn rather than left standing.
6. What we will not publish
- Guaranteed returns, "sure shot" calls or target prices without a stated method.
- Unattributed rumour, leaked results, or insider information.
- Personalised investment advice — we are not a licensed adviser and do not know your circumstances.
- Scraped paid research, or content that misrepresents AI output as human analyst work.
